Several versions ago, Illustrator introduced artboards which allow designers to create multiple page documents in this power illustration program. Using artboards you can reorganize your pages, work with multiple pages sizes, output specific elements to various formats as well as create multi-page PDF’s. This session will show you how to work with process and spot colors, handle strokes and fills to allow for misregistration on press. You will also discover the best methods to integrate Illustrator files with Photoshop and InDesign documents so that you have the correct resolution and color separations. Whether creating small die-cuts or large wide-format designs, you will benefit from practical guidance on how to effectively prepare and print artwork using Adobe Illustrator.

In this session you find out how to build digital artwork from non-digital artwork to create scalable vector graphics that can be used as logos, illustrations, and assets for web pages and more. Learn how to place images and then trace them automatically, or more precisely with the Pen tool. You will also find out how to change and apply colors, as well as take advantage of color books, such as the Pantone® library.

In this session we show you how to take advantage of hard-to-find keyboard shortcuts and other productivity enhancers in Photoshop and Illustrator, and InDesign. You will find out how to work with symbols, smart objects, graphic styles and more. You will also find out how to create more interesting type effects in Photoshop and Illustrator by mastering features such as effects, strokes, outlines and more. This session will also show you how to style graphics, text, tables and more in order to speed your workflow as well as keep your designs consistent.
